YOUTH HIKE REMEMBERS SIERRA LEONE MUSDLIDE VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS

Climate action youth led a hike to Leicester Peak with the EU Ambassador and climate change champions to remember victims and survivors of Sierra Leone's tragic mudslide and to receive prizes for their winning artworks at the recent Climate Art competition. Pupils from the winning schools Peninsular, Prince of Wales and Huntingdon Secondary Schools walked with Tom Vens, EU Ambassador, Sierra Leone School Green Club and Society 4 Climate Change Communications.

The winning pupils each received prices presented by Tom Vens, whose EU Mission sponsored the innovative climate art project for climate diplomacy weeks.

Sierra Leone Youth are pleased to have the oppurtunity to share their climate change concerns direct with Tom Vens, EU Ambassador.
