SOCIETY 4 CLIMATE CHANGE COMMUNICATIONS MAKES THE NEWS

Today, Society 4 Climate Change Communications called on the Government and Institutions of Sierra Leone to take urgent action to fight climate change.
In an interview with Premier News, Director of Communications, Vidal Sesay explained:
“Climate change is real and its effects - things like flooding, land degradation and droughts - are common-place.
Yet there is a lacksidasical attitude by many in authority to adapt effectively to dangerous climate impacts.
We call on our Authorities to ensure every possible climate action is taken to prepare for the damaging consequences of this ugly phenomenom ’’
As the the climate hots up Sierra Leone can expect more droughts and even more intensive rainy season storms and flooding.
