PLANTING TREES TO TACKLE CLIMATE CHANGE

News from our partners Hope Sakuma, proud to show us 180 cashew saplings the team have been busily propagating for our upcoming Karene 'Trees 4 Schools' programme.

Hope Sakuma's budding aboriculturalists been nursing the saplings for our upcoming schools programme helping restore the degraded forests of Sanda Magbolontor, ravaged by deforestation, with productive trees, improving nutrition for pupils and income for schools..

The Hope Sakuma team have been busy! First clearing land for a small tree nursery amongst semi mature trees our budding aboriculturalists have had some success

As well as generously donating cashew saplings to our Trees 4 Sanda Schools, Hope Sakuma are also on the trail of bread and jack fruit, banana and plantain all super-nutritious super-foods, suitable for drying and with waste biproducts key to successful bio-fertilizer.
