NEW SIERRA LEONE MONTHLY NATIONAL CLEANING DAY ANNOUNCED!
In the first executive action by the new administration a new national cleaning day was announced for the first Saturday of every month beginning on Saturday 5th May.
With just a three week implementation period its a big ask but it's clear sustained action to keep our streets clean is much needed and many may argue well overdue. And the rewards for citizen's health and environment of cities and town free from dirty plastic pollution are many.
For anyone interested in our environment and public health it's very encouraging to see a new administration take effective environmental action on the most prominent of our environmental problems and so quickly..
