SIERRA LEONE REPORTING CLIMATE ACTION

I was honored to appear on Star TV yesterday alongside Mr Salami Kanu from the Climate Change Forum a member organization of Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) to talk climate action and promote the ACCER (Africa Climate Change and Environmental Reporting award), which encourages journalists to report on environmental and climate change issues.

We discussed the need for passionate journalists in Africa to write about the health of the planet, future generations and the global conversation around low-carbon, climate-resilient green economic development.

The theme of this year's award is “Changing the Narrative on Environmental Challenges in Africa: the Case of Pollution” with an upcoming closing date for submissions of August 31, 2018.
