Freetown City Council and waste management provider MASADA intensify efforts to keep clean streets by working with youth groups under the banner of Operation Clean Freetown.
Trained youth groups use their existing tools and trikes to sweep their areas daily and with such clean streets the first and lasting impression visitors receive of our vibrant city will boost our determined claim to be a destination of choice for tourists and eco-tourism.
New MASADA bins have also been placed at strategic locations across Freetown including 18 markets.
