RAINY SEASON ARRIVES IN SIERRA LEONE

June 10th witnessed the first severe storm of the Sierra Leone rainy season, with some flash flooding in Freetown and the most severe effects being felt in Yele, Northern Province where 20 families lost their homes to high winds.
We just hope and pray that this rainy season is not a repeat performance of last year where three times the usual rain fell in just two months leading in part to August 14th's tragic mudslide and floods.
