FREETOWN CITY COUNCIL MITIGATES FLOOD RISK

Alfred Fornah

The Mayor’s new Freetown Flood Mitigation Plan is taking effective action with the city's 15 day programme of intensive cleaning midway to completion and as can be seen from the pics, already yielding results, clearing blockages to our city’s waterways - our gutters, culverts and Gillies - that contribute to flooding.
